// YOUR ACCOUNT

Signing in, connecting, and leaving.

You sign in with a magic link emailed to you, or with your Google account — no passwords to create or remember. Reporting and voting both require signing in; this is the one deliberate piece of friction on the platform, and it exists purely to keep the system honest and stop it from being gamed.

Your portal shows a quick summary of what you've reported and voted on. If you're using the browser extension, you connect it to your account the same way — sign in once on the site, and the extension picks it up automatically.

Leaving is just as easy as joining. From your portal, you can permanently delete your account. This immediately removes your profile and everything tied to it — your reports, votes, pledges, claims, and, if you connected any, your Enhanced Protection Gmail connections and the message details they retained — with no need to contact anyone.

Your account is also how we confirm it's really you before sending anything on your behalf — see Enforce your rights for how that works.
